On Wednesday evening I was at the April meeting of the
Community Spirit Action Group, this group covers residents who live in the northern part of the West End ward. There was a presentation from Jay Grant who is the officer responsible for the West End ward in the Environment Department. He spoke about how the Environment Department is trying to ensure that there is a joined-up approach to the work of the department and consistency across the ward. It is early days for this but on the whole this is a good idea and I hope that it will work for the benefit of everyone in the city.
